Compare Cheap Hotels in Downtown Cancun

* Room key didn’t work on arrival had to go back to staff * Second room AC didn’t work sent back to original room after delay * Saw dead cockroach in hallway near room * Whole check in room issue took ~1 hr disorganized * Took hotel towels to beach in rush * Both towels were dirty stains incl possible blood / grime * Returned & requested clean towels * Manager said I shouldn’t have taken them out even tho unusable * Eventually agreed to give me clean ones but then tried to charge fee later * I asked her to take them back since she had came to my room to hand them to me & not be charged she refused & walked away * Continued arguing at front desk with me & I asked calmly multiple times if this is really how she treats her customers * left them on the counter & said here, don’t charge me. But she said “I don’t care, let them stay there, I already handed them to you. I said ok idc they can stay there. I’m not paying for them * next morning I turned in stained sheets I saw on the bed the night before. (Sofa bed also had a huge red stain on it) * Reported dead roach again dismissed told should’ve said earlier * No warm water during stay * Bathroom unclean had to buy bottled water to brush teeth * Only small bathroom mirror no proper mirror * Overall multiple cleanliness + maintenance issues + poor service * Would not recommend stay BEWARE * bathroom was disgusting DO NOT RECOMMEND. If u don’t care about filth and bad customer service then this IS your place. If not, it’s NOT!!!!!!

I loved everything about the hotel. I ideal location, affordable rate, great breakfast and clean rooms. Definitely going to stay here on my next visit

For the price and proximity this is easily a great place to stay. Minutes from the shopping centers and a short ride to all the beaches and airport! Its not as fancy as an all inclusive but the AC works, its very clean, it isnt noisy, but its also not going to drain your wallet. The pool is nice but the gym is hardly a gym.

The lobby amenities, 24/7 coffee, microwave, water and ice made the stay feel like being at home. Breakfast everyday was tasty, hot and continued until 11 a.m., so almost like having brunch. Evenings around the pool was very relaxing. Staff was so friendly. I will return!!!!

The swimming pool was not crystal clear but they have the option to use all the amenities in the beach club at the Krystal’s hotel in the beach. We were out of hot water for half a day and running water by a couple hours. It was a bit disappointing that the hotel didn’t apologize.
