Great hotel

Really lovely hotel, perfectly situated near Cambridge train station and a short walk to the town centre. I was very lucky to be upgraded to an Executive room as 'VIP of the day' which was such a lovely surprise. All the staff were very friendly and really helpful - highly recommend

The service was amazing, the complimentary room upgrade and drink was a lovely surprise for our anniversary and we are very grateful! We would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back. Only one negative was we found a sealed new packet of cigarettes in the bed side table and there was a beer bottle on the balcony with cigarette buts in but other than that everything was clean and tidy.

Overall the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was excellent with quality food and friendly staff. The negative is the parking situation, with the NCP car park recommended by the hotel costing a shocking £29.00 for an overnight stay ( Arrived at 18:00 and departed at 08:00 the next day). As someone who travels around the UK for my job, this was extortionate and the highest price I have paid for overnight parking recommended by a hotel. Would put me off staying here in future, which is unfortunate.
