Clean room with good facilities. Spa complex was lovely. Bar and restaurant very nice. We booked an evening meal package. The food was very good. Didn’t like the service charge that appeared on the bill following the meal, it is my view that such charges should be clearly set out and not an end of evening surprise. Our room wasn’t ready on arrival (we arrived after the start of check in time), this wasn’t an issue for us and we were handed the keys after about a fifteen minute wait. On the morning of checkout, having returned from breakfast, we discovered our room door insecure on the latch. I went to the toilet where I was greeted shortly afterwards mid way through my morning visit by one of the housekeepers who was entering the hotel room. OK I will close the toilet door in future, but this was nowhere near checkout time! In summary a great hotel in walking distance to the centre of Harrogate and all it has to offer. Lovely spa facilities, house keeping a little too keen to do their duties.

The hotel was chosen for the location. I stayed 10 years ago before was a Hilton. Our room was large. Bathroom did not ave any heating so was cold and towels not warm. There were a couple of maintenance issues with bathroom which i reported All staff polite

Paid for a room extra and I check three times with them about this (the third being at check in the other two were a week in advance) and the room was empty when we came in. It was supposed to be a surprise for my girlfriend as it was our first anniversary and they just completely forgot, we then had to wait an hour for them to put it in and it looked completely rushed. The spa was pretty much broken, my phone was locked in a faulty locker (over half of the lockers had stickers saying out of order so I guess they missed a few other broken lockers. Another guest told us ‘ah I never lock mine it’s always sh*t’) and I had to wait an over 30mins as no member of staff was here. Then on there third day we came back to our room to see that the cleaner had left half a can of Coke in our bathroom. Wouldn’t come back, spent over £700 with them. At checkout they didn’t even bother to ask if we had a nice stay, felt like they had got our money and that was all that matters to them. .

Nice welcome at check-in, spacious rooms, disappointed have to pay for the water in the room unless you are a Hilton Honours member. Room not cleaned 1st day which was disappointing. The bar obliged by sending a corkscrew to the room - Thank you great service. Used glasses in the room not ckeaned. So bit of a mixed bag.
