very helpful staff, comfortable room, great location and a good price
a little bit of refurbishment going on at the time of booking (20th to the 22nd of june) so a little bit of construction noise at the time, but as we werent staying in the room all day, it was no bother
enjoyed the breakfast ( normal hotel breakfast buffet so combination of "full english" and contiental)

For the price I paid I was presently surprised. The room was big, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only negative point was that the air con didn't seem to be working, it was a very warm night but I just slept without covers.I would definitely stay again
Central location not far from the Utilita, just a short Uber ride.
Loved the spacious rooms with good bed, work desk and accessible washrooms. Great location - A bus stop right at the door and only a 10 min walk to the city centre. Excellent service by the staff. Soundproofing could be a bit better.
Parking for the hotel required payment and was limited to four cars. Staff could not give direction to alternative parking areas nearby. Front desk for check-in is not clearly marked or easily discernable. Rooms are clean and tidy.

Food was good and no parking
Comfortable room and delicious cooked breakfast. The location was great and has a garage around the corner which is handy.
Friendly staff and a lovely pint as soon as we got there. Spot on stay!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Was really impressed with this property. The staff were extra friendly and helpful. Very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience and we will come again.
I wish I had clicked that the canal was so close on the first day was that was a lovely surprise to find
We arrived at reception and the most unpleasant member of staff didn’t greet us well at all she didn’t smile nothing we thought this was very rude. Then as we went to our room the ceiling and walls were all satined dusted and dirty chair it was very run down. We got ready for our night out went to the bar for a drink the lady who was at reception was playing the game in the bar and looked at me and said in abrupt manner you ok I said yes thank you are you we then got served by the chap at the bar I had a large wine and my husband a pint this is the funny bit the chap poured my drink into two small glasses one with the smallest of amount because they didn’t have a large wine glasses which we thought was ridiculous. The next morning we was ready for our breakfast which was lovely enough of and the lady who greeted was wonderful and polite so hats off to her you need more staff like that maybe see if she would like the reception job because she was more welcoming than the other lady mentioned earlier.
Good things first: The hotel is located centrally and close to railway station
Things that can be improved: only informed after booking no on site car park available and that there is construction work on going so expect noise till 5.00 pm
The rooms were not cleaned not the bed made during my 2 night stay : when asked to the reception staff ( there was only one person at reception managing the bar as well) he informed me that I should have informed him that rooms need a clean I asked him that should be standard practice for rooms to be cleaned in all hotels and that he did not mention to us on the day we checked in ( same guy had checked us in)
There was no shower gel in the shower the bottle was empty
The standards for customer service were very low
Breakfast was ordinary
We were 5 in group and had 5 different rooms fkdv2 nights and none of the rooms were done so it was not one off they just don’t clean the rooms if you stay more than one night
From the moment I entered the foyer to the moment I handed my card back I felt completely comfortable and well looked after by the staff. The facility was clean and tidy, the rooms quiet and comfortable. I will certainly keep my eye out for other accommodation venues this chain has available throughout Europe and the UK.
