I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and have generally been very satisfied with the rooms allocated to me. Unfortunately, my most recent stay was a significant disappointment. The room itself was uncomfortably small, leaving hardly any space to move around. The bathroom was in poor condition: the floor tiles were cracked, much of the grouting had worn away, and black dirt had accumulated in the gaps. The bathtub appeared damaged, with white tape applied to conceal flaws. This tape has clearly been in place for a long time, as it is now peeling away. Additionally, dirt had built up along the top of the bath panel, giving the impression of neglect. Overall, the condition of the room and bathroom made the stay unpleasant. I feel that the price I paid did not reflect the quality provided, and I expected far better given my previous positive experiences at this hotel.

The staff were fine, the room nice and clean but disappointingly small for a superior double, and a dreadful view over a building site. I dread to think what a normal double would be like .
