An otherwise great stay was ruined by obnoxious resort fees. Upon check-in they sprang the nasty surprise that this hotel forces you to pay a mandatory extra fee that must be used each day on food. The fee is obnoxious because the restaurant isn't open early enough for guests going to Disneyland. Avoid this hotel and vote with your wallet against hidden fees.

Overall the place was great to stay in with good food at the restaurants. The only thing that wasn’t working as good was the internet. Then again if you’re staying at the VIV, most people are likely to go to Disneyland and stay there the entire time and not be in the room surfing the internet.
