We have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 3 years and have always had an amazing stay despite the grit of the surrounding areas. This stay, we checked into our Cabana room and there were fruit flies all over the patio. We were moved and ‘upgraded’ to a pool side room. The water was unpredictable when showering alternating between hot and cold and the room was extremely loud because of the door to hallway. Every time it was opened it made a loud sound. The walls were so thin you could hear everything. Additionally, our refrigerator broke during our stay and all of the groceries that we bought spoiled. I informed the front desk and was told to submit my receipt and I’d be reimbursed for the groceries. I submitted the statement to the manager and it’s been over a week and I still haven’t heard from Mr. Thibault. I could go on about the poolside bar staff but I’ll just leave it here. The concierge was wonderful which is the only reason I didn’t leave a 1 under the staff rating.

The Roosevelt hotel was great! The staff were friendly, excellent customer service. My husband and I went for our anniversary and the hotel sent us chocolate covered strawberries, I thought that was so very nice and thoughtful. It was an unexpected surprise. They took good care of us. I highly recommend The Roosevelt we loved our stay
