Weekend getaway

We stayed one night quick Saturday night get away.. the hotel is amazing beautiful decor, woodwork, and so much history. Loved looking at all the old pictures and learning what movies were shot there. All the staff we met were so nice and helpful, very attentive.

Very good staff. Beautiful architecture / decor on main floor. Interesting historical photos from the 1920s and 30s. Furnishings in the rooms, however, need improvements, and bath/shower needs updating.

Great vibe, nice staff. Beautiful, historic hotel. Issues mostly you often find in an older building: hot water in short supply for showers, accommodations showing age, etc. Small room. Super convenient location to Downtown LA venues. You just have to be careful where you go. Appreciate the heightened security.

Classic gem.

I love this classic hotel, nothing new can compare. I could linger forever just taking in the ceilings. The staff was very kind, there were no negatives for me. Will stay again, when it’s affordable.
