The property is under renovation. I didn’t see that anywhere when booking. The impacts were minimal. The fitness facility is closed and they didn’t have any water or coffee in the lobby.

I booked this hotel for a two night Disney stay. The Good: Close to Disney and convenient to restaurants. The front desk staff were very helpful. The Bad: I booked a park view room and while it may have been facing toward the park, the only view was the hotel next door. The hallway carpeting looked dirty and the elevator smelled of hot burnt electronics. The room’s refrigerator had two inches of ice crusted all over the freezer section and the room’s carpet was stained. The Ugly: Within ten minutes of being in the room I observed multiple bugs scurrying across the top of the desk, under the TV and in the refrigerator. I ended up leaving and staying in a different hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lulu! It was our first time at this hotel, and we will definitely be back. The price was super affordable, and the service was excellent. From friendly staff at the check-in counter, to helpful and efficient staff when we encountered a minor issue, we couldn’t have asked for more. Plenty of parking, spacious rooms, fun pool area. The only thing missing was breakfast, but for the price, I can’t complain. The hotel is right next to the Toy Story parking lot, so we were able to walk there from the Harbor entrance to catch the shuttle to Disneyland.

I recently stayed at Hotel Lulu and honestly, it was a pretty disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the bathroom — the toilet was extremely loud every time it flushed, like jet-engine loud, and water would actually shoot up out of the bowl, which was both weird and gross. The shower wasn’t much better — the water pressure was so low it felt like a light drizzle. The hotel does offer one complimentary alcoholic beverage, which is a nice gesture, but it doesn’t really make up for the overall poor experience. The place just didn’t feel well maintained or comfortable. For the price and the location, I expected much better. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
