It was amazing. The front desk lady (unfortunately I did not get her name) was AWESOME. She welcomed us and recommended us some places to visit. In addition, she gave us list of restaurants that we could visit. They were super helpful. Finally, They let us borrow bicycles to ride around town.

I loved the location and the grand entrance with water features. The large suite was incredible with two fireplace settings and a large tub. Problem: this hotel does not have central A/C. The management recomended to leave the windows open. The street noise from a dowtown location was too much with the windows open to sleep well. I would definitely return in the winter months however, Victoria summers can be quite warm. I recommend this hotel in the winter months, but not during the summer.

Beautiful hotel and enjoyed our stay and amenities. Victoria had higher than average temperatures and the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning so a couple of warm sleeps but windows were able to be opened.

The Parkside Hotel & Spa boasts an ideal location and an impressive lobby. My room was incredibly spacious with a full kitchen and living/dining area, a huge plus. However, the experience had significant drawbacks. The furniture was noticeably worn. More concerning, the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned; I found debris on the floor and hair in the tub and elsewhere. The lack of central A/C was an issue, and only two fans were provided. Finally, staff didn't greet me consistently. While the location and space are excellent, the cleanliness, worn furnishings, inadequate cooling, and staff interactions detract from the stay. Improvements in housekeeping could elevate this hotel significantly.

This unique property is great. I don’t like the fact that you adult only swim between nine and 10. But love how they have the option to have a use of the fire pits on the roof and the movie theater.
