I believe its over priced and its not worth it to stay here. Moreover, you wont get the washroom utilities(no extra towel, no tooth brush). Staff response was below the average. Avoid this, if you can. Thanks

The beds were not comfortable, lumpy. The hallways and doors and elevator are marked up badly and look dirty. The pool and hot tub were disgusting! Large lumps of hair on the floor and the hot tub had bumbles foaming up. Did not even attempt to go in.

Hospitality and comfort in Victoria.

Very comfortable hotel; excellent staff, good suggestions for restaurants and activities. Hotel is very clean with good amenities. Rooms include refrigerator, coffee maker, small stove and microwave. All good!

Nice suite. Has AC and was really hot when we stayed. Easy transportation on transit to the harbour. For the price, a breakfast should have been provided. I stayed at a much less expensive hotel in Nanaimo and they provided breakfast.

The property was good in that it's very near to downtown Victoria. The cleaning service was not good...our room was not cleaned even though we put the sign on the door knob outside the room.

The Sandman hotel is very good to excellent (good internet, comfortable beds and super clean). Staff, especially John at check-in were super helpful and friendly. A friendly greeting every time we walked by the desk. The unfortunate part is that the Denny’s restaurant attached to it is quite the opposite…staff who often ignored us when we walked in and seemed disinterested in their job. It also has a terrible odour problem which seems related to floor cleaning and was there every time we walked in. Thankfully there is a Tim Hortons down the street, as well as a cute cafe (2% Jazz) not far away.

Property is clean. Bedrooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. And front desk is friendly. Kids enjoys the indoor pool. Over all my family and families from Alberta had a great stay.

Nice hotel and location. If you are energetic you can walk to popular tourist destinations. Denny’s restaurant is a part or f the hotel, which makes it convenient for those days you don’t want to rush out
