The staff member (Yousaf I think) who checked us in and was there for next 2 days was the BEST. You really need to keep him. The room and breakfast was in line with cost of room. If we ever come back to Victoria we will definitely stay there. 🤗

An old-school property that has been fixed up. Great customer service. The extras are fantastic. What hotel doesn't like free bikes, etc. You need to work on breakfast though!! It doesn't take much. Offer it and do it well, or don't. Nobody wants to remind you that your slim breakfast was missing something like an egg or fruit. I loved it there. A great bar across the street with great bar food. Robin Hood!!

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Value

We really enjoyed the great breakfast—the selection and quality of food were excellent, and the tea was especially delightful. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The free use of e-bikes and kayak added so much fun and made our experience even more enjoyable. While the building is a bit dated, it’s very well-maintained and clean, which made a big difference. Overall, the warm atmosphere made us feel like part of a family. This place offers great value for money, and we’d happily come back!

Way better than expected, despite the property being a little old. The GM and front desk personnel were very helpful and accommodating. I had to book a last minute trip to Parksville for my pet's export certificate and they managed to accommodate me and my pet at short notice, otherwise my plans would have been ruined. The room is very clean and well fitted out, spacious enough for my son, my dog and I. Simple breakfast is also included which is fantastic! Overall a pleasant stay and excellent experience.

Always have your ID handy when staying here, staff don’t know their guests and you’ll be constantly harassed to prove to them that you’re a guest. They charge top dollar for all that and no lift. It’s more of a overpriced backpacker joint.

Great value for a short stay. We had to add our dog at the last minute, and the staff was amazingly supportive, and was able to get our room adjusted. They provided a dog bed, treats and dishes. :) It was very easy to walk our dog on the edge of the property.
