The stay was okay. It’s not the best and not the worst. Obviously the common complaint is no A/C. The hallways are cooled but the rooms aren’t. That makes NO sense. If the temps are mild I am sure it’s not an issue but it was 29 and 30 degrees while I was there and I suffered in that room. The rooms are dated and need some reno at some point. The door did not lock which was a major fail. Sure you have the latch at the top portion of the door which allows someone to open it about 4 inches. No deadbolt lock or something more secure. That is a huge fail and unsafe. I can say the location to everything downtown was great.

Convenient location not far from the waterfront and downtown area. However there was no air conditioning in the room and it was unusually hot in Victoria. The room had a fan which helped. I noticed a vent lightly blowing cool air but not enough to bring down the temperature. I’m sure that under normal temperatures it would have been fine. Perhaps just bad luck.

Great location and very friendly staff! The only complaint is that the room was quite hot (summer) with no a/c just a fan. Over all stay was great though.

All around okay- definitely a dated spot and runs warm at night without A/C, but fairly clean considering it needs an update. Our room came with a kitchenette and was spacious. Bring your own dish sponge, the one they gave you is stinky and gross. Really close to all things family. Miniature world, big zoo, IMAX and restaurants. Pool is so dingy but it may be okay for some. We skipped it.

This property is in a great location. The only issue we had was room cleaning service. We stayed for 3 nights, no room cleaning, no fresh towels and had no Kleenex and ran out of toilet paper. I would stay there again as the room was clean and staff was friendly.

Book elsewhere!

The Quality Inn is an old hotel that has had no upgrades. The towels are very small and old, not nice to dry off on. The facecloths are the same - old and feel like sandpaper. As for the bedding, these sheets have been used for way too many years and are not good quality. They are rough and full of pills (balling that is not comfy at all). Maybe other rooms had better bedding but I doubt it. There is no AC and they do not have extra fans. I had requested a tea kettle on day one and never got one. I’m a tea drinker so the water needs to boil to make good tea. I would suggest only booking this hotel if there is nothing else available. The good thing is, it’s a good location for walking around.
