Cozy comfortable place. It’s located in a lovely neighborhood, conveniently close to the waterfront and downtown. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, especially Hedy, who let us check out late. The place is well maintained and stylish, and I definitely recommend it!

Property was very close to the town centre and easily walkable Staff were very friendly and helpful It woukd have been nice to have tea/coffee in room but thats just nitpicking. If you are looking to stay in a more old fashioned property wirh history then tbis is the place for you. If you are a modern place with all mod cons, you'll need to look elsewhere

Very nice historical hotel; great location - walkable almost everywhere we needed to be. Free parking. Cozy clean room. Refrigerator in a room; coffee in a lobby every morning. Very friendly staff. We will definitely come back.

Unusual and interesting heritage property. However, the last update looks like it was 15-20 years ago and is now looking out of date and not in keeping with that heritage angle. Staff were friendly and room was clean and functional with a nice view of the street. Stairs are quite steep and as there is no lift (hotel does make this clear) even getting to reception is quite a climb. Great location with some good cafes nearby and an easy walk to the harbour and downtown.
