Pros:Clean and comfortable, with nice view. Also they try to let older folks have rooms that don’t require walking upstairs (no lift) Cons: Didn’t appreciate pictures of beer glasses in the room - it kinda looked like they were inviting a frat party. Still, a decent place for a short stay.

I’m not familiar with Victoria so I booked here. Check in/out was easy, very professional & polite. Old rooms, paint looks a little strange, especially on the corner on the walls there were large bubbles, lots of spider cob webs on the ceiling/ceiling corners & cupboards, bathroom grout had some black stuff and peeling off, very loud pounding sounds coming from 2nd floor above us around 3am-4am for 2 nights. Door frames can easily be busted in, I leaned against my door outside and the door frame was loose/cracked. No elevator in 3 story building. If you wanted your room cleaned or towels or sheets, you need to schedule an appointment at 3 specifically given times. Not the safest neighborhood compared to other areas I visited. Windows were glued or nailed shut.

I did not feel safe at night. Too many strangers around, a very busy pub with live music that is it mentioned in the overview. Crumbling walls in bathroom and large gap under the room door leading to the outside.
