The check in experience felt very uncomfortable, and they essentially tried to get my colleague to pay for another night’s stay at the hotel for an error that they made. Also, when I finally got into my room, there was no sink in the bathroom. The only sink was a tiny bar sink in a kitchenette unit away from the bathroom. Talk about inconvenient and not something I liked.

The air conditioner was a window unit and did not work properly. The other window could be opened but the screen was broken. So it was a hot room.

The room I was initially was scheduled for, after waiting for it to be cleaned, was not clean when I got the keys. As a result I got an 'upgraded room'. It was big and airy, but the bathroom was a small newly constructed box and the only sink was the kitchenette sink, small and high. The location while great was above and the across the street from pubs, that played live music 'til late at night. Not the best location for sleeping. also - blinds did not make the room dark. AC was loud. We also had a fire alarm go off at 12:30am on Saturday 8/9. No hotel employee was in attendance. The front desk sign said "back in 5 minutes", but no hotel employee appeared the entire time the alarm was going off or when the Fire Department showed up. This lasted approx 45 minutes! I'd rather pay more for nicer accommodation. And stay out the the center of the action

A charming stay for a quick get away

It was a busy weekend in Victoria, but I really wanted to take my wife away for her birthday weekend. I found the Bedford Regency perfect location to everything we wanted to do. The room was charming, bed very comfortable and a big bath tub to die for. It was quiet and perfect for us.

You can do better

1) Doesn’t have underground parking. Had to park somewhere else and then walk over to hotel. 2) Bath tub can use a fixing. There’s crack in the tub. 3) Add some fabreeze in the room to make it smell nice. 4) You would think $500 for 1 night would offer more value. A nice comfier bed that doesn’t itch my body. The blanket feels itchy along my body. Repaint the hallway to make it welcoming. 5) I have spent $500 for 2 nights and receive better services. Nice comfier bed. Parking and breakfast. 6) I have spent $800 for 2 nights and receive amazing services. A beautiful bed. Nice clean bedsheets and blanket and pillows. Underground parking. Nice hallway painting.
