BIG NOTE: Temperature is regulated for the entire floor so there isn’t air conditioning you can adjust for your room. You can speak to the front desk and request a fan. Staff is nice and very helpful. Hotel is very central and convenient.

Sunshine City was conveniently located connected to the mall and subway station. Family mart is right next to the lobby level by the elevators. Sunshine City is also close to many eateries and restaurants outside the property. Staff were friendly and helpful. Helped with questions and directions. This hotel is one of the shuttle (limousine bus) locations for pick up and drop off from Haneda airport. Rooms were large and spacious. Gave it a four star rating for cleanliness, overall everything was clean but in the sink area there was lots of residual toothpaste/soap splatter all over the wall. This looked off putting. We did not pay for breakfast / did not receive free breakfast, so could not comment on the food. My rating is for convenience to many dining options. We did receive discount vouchers for some of the restaurants but did not use them as we went further out our daily excursions.

I love Tokyo

This hotel has a lot of chinese visitors who are rude and have no manners. Outside of that, the hotel, location and ammenities were good.

It is only 10 min walk from the Ikebukuro station which has access to many train systems. The Narita limo bus has a stop right at the doorstep this hotel. so convenient! The only bad part is although there are 6 elevators, it can take 10 minutes to get into one to go downstairs.
