LOVELY SERVICE

Stayed here for a little over a week. Super nice and quiet, yet still only a 5 minute walk to Sunshine City. Has everything you need, plus more. Staff was super friendly and even allowed me to leave my luggage here a week in advance. Check-in and check-out was super quick, easy, and friendly. They even allowed me to leave my luggage on check-out to pick up later for a flight. I had even left my special travel documents back at the hotel, and they were kind enough to organize and hold onto those documents for me to pick up. If it wasn't for this, I wouldn't have made my flight in time but thanks to how quick and accommodating they were, I was just barely quick enough to make my flight.

We stayed here twice we liked it so much. 10 minute walk to Ikebukuro station. 7/11 around the corner and sunshine city is only 5 minutes away. The bed was not the most comfortable but the front desk provided extra pillows and blankets

I stayed here for my very first trip to Japan and I loved the Ikebukuro area. Lots of shopping, entertainment and food and is a less busy area of Tokyo as it isn’t one of the huge tourist attraction parts of Tokyo. I personally found this amazing and this hotel is part of what made my experience so amazing. I will be coming back to this hotel for my next trip, which I anticipate very much and hope to see through soon! Thank you so much to the staff for helping make this a memorable and positive experience for me and my brother.

The hotel is a bit far from Ikebukuro JR station and need to walk over 10 minutes. Staffs are nice and can speak English. No water supply and told us to drink tap water. But when I wanna try the water and saw the colour was creamy white at first. I rather buy bottles of water myself for safety. The room is generally clean away from the carpet. It looks very dirty and old. As they offer room service every 3 days, would like to have a bigger trash bin.

Very cute location, nice and quiet. Only sounds I heard was from other rooms closing their doors. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Everything in the room worked. Would definitely stay here again as it was pretty close to the station.

Very friendly staff and reasonably close to Ikebukuro station. Very close to bars, restaurants and shopping. The hotel has free toiletries available in the foyer should you have forgotten your toothbrush or toothpaste.

The hotel was a nice experience. The room I had was pretty spacious for most Japanese hotels. I was slightly disappointed with the imagery on the preview photos showing a hanging flatscreen. Instead it was a regular flatscreen they had sitting on the desk.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was superb as they accomodated our vegetarian needs. We thank the staff for that. Ikebukuro station is less than 10 minutes walking. We will definitely stay here when visiting Tokyo.

My husband and I absolutely adored our stay. The hotel was clean and well decorated with friendly staff. It had a small cafe inside, which served soup and tasty breads with a little owl on them! It was also the perfect distance from the station— not right in the middle of everything, but not so far that it was inconvenient. Although the room was small, we only used it for sleeping, which was exactly what we wanted. We're definitely staying here the next time we come to Tokyo!

Pros: 1) Walkable to JR Ikebukuro station in about 10 mins. 2) Cleansing oil, lotion, washing towel, bathing sponge, etc are provided. Ladies no need to bring these items. Cons: 1) Toilet door is open outward so need be careful no one outside toilet. 2) Wi-Fi not very stable inside room. 3) Need move hot kettle to elsewhere to boil water since no more plug nearby.

We loved our stay! When our flight changed, they helped us book a few extra days with no issues. They spoke good enough English to help us and had great toiletries options. Bed was pretty decent size as we are two pretty big Americans. Shower was a good size as well. Room is obvs small, as expected for Tokyo but it worked alright for us, 2 larger than average people with 4 suitcases. Tv can screencast with your phone and WiFi worked well. We anlso loved staying in ikebukuro, enough away from the hustle and bustle but still very walkable. All in all, a great stay! Will likely stay again.

Perfect place for the price point but my only problem is it’s pretty far from the closest train station, which is a problem if you’re staying here around winter time. Now, it’s not that far out of context but pretty far if you’re shivering. The place itself is in a quiet part of Ikebukuro but a quick walk away from a lively area of the city so it’s definitely a good place to stay. I’ll be back here if it’s summer time.
