Beautiful property, very well located, walking distance from Union Square, Chinatown and 35 minute walk to Fisherman’s wharf. The room we stayed in was nothing special, old bathtub with shower, countertops were renovated. We could hear the TV from the adjacent room as well as doors slamming in the Hallway. Staff is friendly , valets are pretty cool and helpful. We booked a tour to Carmel through the concierge, we never received our confirmation so had to search for it at 10 pm...not the service you expect from this sort of hotel, we were told they were extremely busy etc..... and lastly, breakfast at the restaurant is a rip off, they charge 6$ for a coffee when you can get it for free in the lobby???? 37$ for a very mediocre breakfast, my husband’s plate came with one toast??? All in all, nice hotel unnecessarily expensive.
