My wife, 2 small children and I visit our extended family in San Francisco every Christmas. We have done Airbnb and the Westin St Francis, and Galleria Park is by far our favorite. This was our fourth stay in the king suite, which is our favorite accommodation anywhere we have traveled as a family. The staff are wonderful, especially Lupita and Alexis. The property is gorgeous and quiet even though it is right in the heart of Downtown San Francisco. It is a 2 minute walk to Union Square and Chinatown, and a lovely trolley ride to the Ferry Building, Embarcadero, and Fisherman’s Wharf. Outstanding value for the money.

The staff was always welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and refreshing after a walk around town. The wine/gin martini bar was well attended and a nice respite. Note: this is an older note and the rooms are nicely renovated, but the bathrooms are small. Not an issue - but don’t be surprised!

The room was clean and the hotel was in a good location. There was an amenities fee, and we did have to ask for some of the amenities because they had not actually given them to us. Some front desk staff were extremely friendly, whereas others seemed irritated by questions.
