This wasn’t my first time staying at this hotel. On this occasion, it was for a night out with friends. Check-in was super quick, taking less than a minute before we had our keys. Customer service was average, with not much conversation from the person behind the desk. The water pressure was really good, but due to the room having no window or ventilation, it became humid and damp, which is something I would change. That said, for the price, you can’t complain.

The easy hotel is brilliant as-long as you can get over not having a window, the room is clean, me and my partner stop here as it’s good when we have a night out in Birmingham, the water pressure is good and it’s convenient location makes it a no brainier, for the price you can’t ask for anymore, beds are comfortable but only one pillow each!

Positives: room and bathroom exceptionally clean. Negatives: room very cramped with limited storage, but the worst thing by a mile was the noise and seemingly paper-thin noise insulation - have never stayed anywhere where the noise see from other guest rooms was so bad, including voices/conversations/ toilets flushing/footsteps/music/tv.

Mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. The room was incredibly small too, only enough room for the bed itself. Air conditioning was good though and the shower was nice and powerful. Bathroom had windows all across though and a big gap on the door with no lock, so no privacy! Also only one towel is given. Perfect location though for The Alexandra nearby.

Friendly staff on reception. Clean, cosy room. Couple of points. I could hear a pump working intermittently, which may have bothered a light sleeper. Only tiny ledge above bed and high shelf to put anything down. Great for an overnight stay.
