Nice hotel

Clean room, nice pool perfect for children, very friendly staff at reception and breakfast. We had awful dinner in the Restaurant on the first night, they messed up half of the order, no one came to ask us how our food was, we waited over an hour for one of our main courses, we called the waiters several times, at the end supervisor came, and they argued with us that nothing was messed up. We didn't visit the restaurant for dinner anymore.

The hotel is clean but the pool and spa areas and the rooms all were tired and need updating. We waited over 2 hours for food in the restaurant and we were on a DBB rate but everything had supplements so I don’t think we saved any money and the menu was significantly more limited. Staff were friendly.

Reception staff on check in fantastic and threw the early being . Bar staff very rude , pool side staff excellent . Food could have more of a snack menu but more less fancy for a quick bite of something . Overall great carpets in corridors dirty and lots of glasses etc outside rooms . But wound come agai.

Walked a marathon to our room and found even after upgrading a room overlooking a building. I complained and we were moved to another room. Condition of room really poor. I was told we would receive a platter and free drink at the bar but the platter did not arrive! Complained again and when it did finally arrive it was something and nothing just three incredibly small cakes. People running outside our room in the early hours. There was an event going on and it literally took up the whole hotel. So noisy and breakfast was awful. The food at the hotel especially the buffett was terrible. We ate out all the time. Will never stay again.

Large hotel

The hotel was very busy so small queue on checking in but huge queue for breakfast. Bed was a little too soft for me and I don't like feather pillows, but that is a personal view.

Poor Experience in the Restaurant!!

Exceptionally poor experience in the restaurant. Was prompted to book into the restaurant when booking the room and did so. On arrival, we were told, despite advertising a large board for the full menu in reception, that only a buffet was available at £35 per head. This was NOT the case as we then found out other guests were dining off the full menu in the bar. We even questioned the buffet when being seated and then got charge 12.5% service charge!

Comfortable room but only fixed shower so couldn't adjust up or down. Very long walk from reception/bar/restaurant to our room Coffee machine not working Sunday evening/Monday breakfast. Very helpful staff quickly returned (by post) electric toothbrush and phone charger I'd left behind in room. Very busy and noisy Sunday evening

Too loud

Third stay here and probably will be last sadly . Arrived at 4pm to check in with my son who has autism and my aunt and was met with several groups of rowdy men away for a golf weekend . Got checked in quickly by the staff though and directed where to go for our family room. We went up to our room it was lovely . Started to relax in room around 5pm / 5.30 someone was checked in to the room next to us which was connected to our room with a locked door . We had the tv on and still could hear every single word of there conversation as they were shouting . Then we heard a man screaming room 444 for 5 minutes straight until he arrived at it which was directed across from our room . At this point we are now surrounded by shouting adults we decide to leave for dinner as it was upsetting my son . On way out went to reception to report this to be told it’s families next to us I said there is no way they are families . He said let me again oh no sorry room next to u is two adults and room across is group of adults I can ask them to be more quiet . When we came back that evening they were slightly more quiet but could still hear them . It was not peaceful and relaxing like it usually is until the Saturday .
