The rooms were clean, the breakfast was enjoyable, and most importantly, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. In the evenings, access to the hotel required a key card, which reflected the hotel’s strong commitment to guest security.

I booked rooms for two couples. I liked the breakfast & the staff was extremely helpful...Leigh at the reception desk directed us to an excellent restaurant for dinner & gave us pub ideas. I also liked the Victorian ambiance of the hotel. The only thing I didn't think about when I booked was that the bed was in a loft and the bathroom was downstairs - not convenient for those of us who have to use the toilet in the middle of the night. But we had a fantastic stay! Thank you Huntingdon!

Two senior sisters stayed for 2 nights at the Huntington Inn at the end of our Vancouver Island vacation. The gentleman at the reception was very kind when we arrived. The cost for parking is $18 per day within in and out privileges and you are assigned a parking spot for the entire stay. The rooms are clean, but there is really no view and the air conditioners are old window style air conditioning. The bathroom is a tub with a shower curtain, which is not ideal for seniors. The rooms have a Nespresso machine, but we were not fans. Their rooms are not big and not fancy but we enjoyed our stay. The free breakfast in the morning is hot and cold buffet style with lots of choices. The breakfast dining area is lovely, all windows. We felt very safe going out in the evening and the hotel is in an excellent area between the Empress Hotel and the fisherman’s wharf. We had debated whether or not to go to the Pendray Inn and tea house for breakfast one morning, which would have been an extra $10 each. We were delighted with the breakfast that is served at the Huntington.

This is our 2nd tie choosing this hotel to stay in Victoria. You will not regret it.It is close enough to the bay and downtown, bus stop, But also quiet and away from all that noise. They have lovely courtyard and amazing breakfast :)

We enjoyed staying in one of the lofts that were recently renovated. It was really hot outside and without a window in the upstairs bedroom we found it warm up there and had the air running for a good 6 hours after we checked in. Continental breakfast was included and the selection was good. Pre book a parking spot because we didnt know that could be an issue. Would stay there again

Front desk staff was very friendly. We received a free upgrade without asking, and our room was ready for check in 2 hours early. The hotel is in a great location; only a 5-10 minute walk to the main harbour area. The hallways and, our room, were a bit outdated and need some TLC (not quite as good as they show in the pictures online). A table, or something similar, should be added up in the loft (where the bed is) to put your suitcase on. In our room we only had the bed to put the suitcase on, which is a bit inconvenient. The front gardens are very nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Victoria visit.

An overly expensive rip off. They call.it a heritage manor turned hotel. Rooms were old, a/c did not work right and room.was not equiped with amenties such as lotions or other conveniences. House keeping left their dirty linen bag behind. Breakfast was simply horrible and we skipped the next days breakfast for Pendray Tea House. Food items not well labelled. Terrible for those who have physical limitarions. Reception has an attitude. This place takes advantage of nostalgia.
