"Great Hotel at a good location, nice facilities"
It is excellent value for Money. Complimentary Wi-Fi, Movies and Minibar (non alcoholic) was on offer. Room was very comfortable. One of the best parts was the location where you have in open Ryan's bar and food literally next door across the road.

Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney - The Rocks Hotels

Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney

176 Cumberland Street, The Rocks - Map
"Great Location, great view and great room! "
If you want to stayon the quieter side of Sydney's CBD, then Shangri-La is the hotel for you. It's close to Circular Quay, but its also close enough to George St. The room and the view was fantastic. The nice touches in the room, like the complimentary champagne, and water bottles everyday was really cool. The whole room had heaps of nifty storage spaces, and the furniture was top class. A note to future travellers: opt for the executive room. You don't want to risk staying on Level 5, when there is a fantastic view to be had for not much more.

The Old Clare Hotel

1 Kensington Street, Chippendale - Map
"Smart and stylish but respecting the past"
Short walk from Central Station, easy access around town with stylish facilities for relaxing. We crammed in theatre at the Opera House, a ferry trip to Manly, very enjoyable meal at the Hotel Restaurant, swum a few laps in the pool, generous breakfast, Church nearby, light rail to Pyrmont, National Nautical Museum, ferry back to Circular Quay, bus back to Hotel, train to airport and flight back to Melbourne - all on one night at the Old Clare. We loved it.

"Great luxury hotel, fantastic gym."
I really enjoyed my short stay at the Hilton in Sydney. The location was excellent, the hotel itself luxurious. I loved the gym which included classes if I could fit them in. I would have liked to have used the pool and the spa, but didn't have time in my short trip. Very close access to shops, trains and sight seeing was great.

The Grace Hotel - Sydney Hotels

The Grace Hotel

77 York Street, Sydney - Map
"Good location"
We stayed 2 nights to go to a friend's wedding at the Grand Pullman Quay. It was only a short taxi drive away and very easy to pick up a taxi out the front. Loved the art deco carpets and artwork. Our friends joined us for breakfast on one of the days and were also very impressed with the hotel and the breakfast.
