Great location and quick walk to circular Quay for transportation options. Great dining around the corner and shopping as well. We had a great view of the harbor, bed was comfortable and everything we needed. Good hotel for the price.

Apart from the location (the rocks), the rest of the amenities leave a lot to be desired. Outdated bathroom fittings, bugs/insects in the bathtub, Staff with some bad attitude, and mediocre breakfast. To add to the folly your view of the opera house is pretty much blocked by a ship parked most of the time.

Very Nice Hotel

Stay was great, very clean and great location in The Rocks. Only problem was after getting off the elevator, we had to navigate four pieces of luggage down several additional steps to enter our room. Not fun when you are handicapped and suitcases are full because we are going on a cruise departing from Sydney. It was definitely different than any other hotel we have stayed in previously. Did enjoy happy hour in the lobby!

Our room was warm and damp. We never really got to a comfortable temperature. Staff was very accommodating and kept our luggage for about 4 hours before we were able to check in. Lobby area is very comfortable.

The hotel was in a perfect location to walk to just about everything. The inside was a little worn and run-down. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The staff failed to let us know that there was a restaurant on the second floor and that there was a roof top pool with amazing views (we already knew about the roof top pool).

Good situation but dated

Lovely situation for everything in Sydney, especially public transport and the overseas passenger terminal. The rooms are clean but dated and could do with a a few more comforts. I feel that there is a lack of staff as they were very sparse, foyer could do with more seats and furnishings. No offer of help with luggage. The pool is ok and the view great when the cruise ships leave, spa wasn’t working either. Breakfast is expensive for what you get so better to go out to local cafes which are right on the doorstep.

We liked this property, gorgeous entry/lobby, and the area it was in, was perfect. The hot tub was chilly and that was disappointing. The building is older but has what you need. The cleaner needs to vacuum the carpet all the way to the edge, there was raised rim of dust and dirt along the edges, use the attachments! That was gross. Other than that, things were as they should be.

Great location

Positives- great location, fantastic rooftop views, pool, clean, comfortable bed,friendly staff, tea tray in room Speedy check in Negative- hotel is tired and rooms are in need of updating especially the bathroom. We were upgraded - thank you - room was great size but again tired. No bottled water in room Bar and restaurant are not open every day which I found amazing especially Australia Day and being a central hotel, so no atmosphere in reception

I wish there were elevators or some kind of access to the rooms that didn’t require a walk around the entire floor to get to your room. Should definitely be more handicap accessible in that regard.

Great location if you can deal with mold and old.

Bathrooms had a lot of mold, employees would hide in back room instead of manning the desk, the front desk phone was never answered (mailbox was full and employees acted surprised by frustration that it was impossible to find an employee). Great location, easy walk to everything. A handful of very helpful employees and cleaning staff but would not recommend.
