Room. It was a room for disabled person, bathroom equipped for wheel chair. It was dark and small with proximity to bathroom it smelled. Very disappointed King size bed and linens were very nice. Luckily we basically only slept in room

Fantastic location, very nice room, very attentive concierge and old school hospitality. Definitely some 'choke points' however. You can't really rely on being able to get the hotel breakfast, as the line to get in was 30 people deep, and not moving at all. Luckily Lune is around the corner which the concierge recommended instead. The other choke point was reception for check-out, which had a long line, so quick checkout is your best bet. For a group travelling on business, frustrating to not bring colleagues to breakfast, but that's what it is. Otherwise, all fantastic.

Check your car when it comes out of this hotel's affiliated car park. Handed the keys to the valet and it came back 2 days later with panel damage that we only noticed shortly after departure.

The hotel In general is okay, reception small desks, I was expecting more for the price, not spa, no steam Room, or swimming pool, the rooms are extremely small specially when traveling 3 adults and two double beds, everything is very tight and not enough space to put luggage’s and stuff, the bathroom is old and small, the plastic mat for shower dirty and dark under because of the use. The bar was closed on Saturday night after 9pm. The hotel is close 5 min walk To botanical garden and 15 min walk to circular quay. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of choices. Lastime stayed at Fullerton hotel and that hotel was awesome. Will consider staying at Sofitel Wentworth next time.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff

I was very happy with my stay at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. I had an issue with my first room and when I brought it to Guest Relations management’s attention, I was helped quickly and was moved to a different room with kindness and compassion. I very much appreciated that. My room was beautiful and was very comfortable. I had room service and while the menu is a tad on the expensive side, there was a great variety of food and drinks. I checked in on a day that was 37°C and it was wonderful going into a room that was well air conditioned. The staff I interacted at all stages of my stay were kind, friendly and a joy to be around. It was great that the metro station was only a few minutes away which made it easier to get around the city.

The gym was going through reconditioning and not available. This was not communicated during booking. Had to walk to an open gyms 15mins away they provided which was an inconvenience. The rest of the hotel was great and an enjoyable.
