I had a really good stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and well set up, making it easy to relax. The highlight was definitely the view — absolutely stunning, with the Harbour Bridge, Luna Park, and the city skyscrapers all in sight. A perfect spot for enjoying Sydney’s skyline, both day and night. Would definitely stay again!

Easy to get to hotel. Lovely area for walks. Good restaurant in hotel and buffet breakfast was fine. Fantastic view of the harbour from our room. Train station was right next door and allowed for easy access to all parts of the city. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great location, very easy to get to you on the trains. Unfortunately it is right in the train station so is very (very) noisy. Fortunately I’m quite a heavy sleeper so it did not bother me too much but if I was a light sleeper do not stay here!

I love the location of this property: make sure you pick a harbour view room - well worth it. Excellent breakfast offering and friendly staff. While the property has been around for many years, it is clean, well presented and largely renovated. Would be even better with a comfy chair in the vacant corner of the room! Disappointments: railway is noisy; no terrestrial tv in room - you need to access your Australian freeview accounts - stupid...and never seen this before anywhere. But I'll still be back

Location, location, location

We stayed for 4 nights in a top floor room. The view was amazing and truthfully quite breathtaking. Hotel room, cleaning service and breakfast service were excellent. Reception staff excellent and the maintenance person involved in resolving an issue with our TV was super helpful. Lack of staff during evening meal service resulted in poor service and on one night the food was below expectations. Overall the location, view and breakfast would encourage me to rebook when in the city.

Great hotel The “view”. Room 205 has a tree blocking one of the most iconic views in the world. Buffet breakfast was on, the food temp needs to be a lot warmer, fried potatoes need to be crispy not soggy. Bar service was fine even though only one barman in attendance. Bar closed early. Disappointed to be honest. Logistically, tube service, buses and taxis are excellent. On the whole friendly staff, spotlessly clean, food needs an uplift, will however stay here again.
