Truly a case of you get what you pay for.
While it was indeed budget-conscious, there was a lot to be desired during our stay.
I had booked two rooms for my family to stay in for several days. During this stay, one of the three elevators there were out of use, causing for a huge delay for other guests staying and the cleaning staff who also would use the elevators.
My family and I had run out of toilet paper and facial tissues which we requested several times (twice in person at reception and once over the phone to reception). They said that cleaning staff will stop by to replace them, which did not happen even over the span of our several-day stay. In one of the rooms, one of my family members stepped on a clothing pin that was found dug into the carpet floor and we had brought it to the attention of the reception desk. One of our rooms had a “opt out of housekeeping services” door sign and we were surprised to come back and see that they had cleaned the room regardless.
There were also no kitchen hours listed, so when we tried to order food at reception in the evening, they told us the kitchen was closed. It was a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but definitely an additional area of opportunity.
Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience and we are not pleased with our overall stay. We would not recommend this institution to friends or family.
