We are a family of four and found this to be the perfect spot to walk, swim, play soccer on neighborhood field, great Mexican food. They kept the place nice, clean and comfortable.

Good place.

The girls in front desk were very courteous, polite and nice. Easy checking in. The only 2 upsides was that the shower from next door room was very noisy and i wish the pool was heated, water is very cold. But it was a nice stay and onlt 5 min walk to the beach

I took my teenage daughter to a quick trip to the boardwalk during our California trip The Ocean Pacific was a great value for the price. The room was clean, comfortable and close to the boardwalk and downtown. We arrived early and for a $25 we were able to check in early. There was a Classic Woody convention in town and lots of the car owners were staying there so we got to see all of the cool cars which was really cool. It’s an old school basic motor lodge, so there is no onsite breakfast but there are tons of options a quick car ride away. The only downside is that parking in the lot is tight which could be an issue for larger vehicles.. Perfect for our mother/daughter trip and I’d stay here again.

The room was surprisingly large, actually 2 separate bedrooms with enough room for a roll-away bed. The staff was very accommodating. Great little market/coffee shop right across the street.

Had a great stay. Took my dog and had no issues. Bed was comfy and room was clean and spacious. There was wear and tear to most of the furniture and room itself but otherwise couldn’t find a fault. It’s located in a wonderful spot close to just about everything and lots of parking. It was a bit loud you could hear neighbors talking but earplugs were provided which was a nice plus. Would absolutely stay again.

We stayed here for just one night. Older building with some modern touches. The room had a musty smell like an old antique shop. The bed was comfy. Overall it was pretty clean. Needed some updating but was all we needed for the night. I wouldn't recommend staying there if you had to stay for more then a few days. Very small room. Older shower setup. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful as when checked in later at night. Overall rating a 6.0

Perfect location. Old hotel that needs some work/upgrades. Was noisy at times and we could hear our neighbors and people above us. Good for families that might not mind some noise and looked to be pet friendly.

Pluses: This hotel/motel has a good central location, although very quiet at night – even though the place was pretty full. The room was OK, and the bed was super-comfortable. We had a very good night’s sleep after a late-night performance at Kuumbwa Jazz Center (3 min drive away). The reception staff were very helpful. Minuses: The biggest negative was that there was no safety latch or chain on the inside of the hotel room door. The wi-fi was very unreliable (“last century” connectivity). Parking is a bit tight, especially if you have a large vehicle. The place could do with some updating.
