A quaint place with a sweet elderly couple from Europe. He is from Switzerland & settled in Santa Cruz after finishing school. The breakfast was a delicious croissant with scrambled eggs.

No closet. Would have preferred white sheets. Outdated room. Breakfast was limited. Host was very nice. Too expensive for this place. I was expecting a much nicer and well furnished room. Too much clutter everywhere on the property.

This bed and breakfast was a hidden gem. The owners Constantin and Adriana deserve all the praise they have gotten for setting up such a cozy bed and breakfast (with delicious breakfast included!) in such a prime location in Santa Cruz. We were just 2 blocks from the boardwalk, a few blocks to downtown, and there was free parking! I would stay here again and again

This bed and breakfast is run by a nice retired couple who are very pleasant and enjoyable to talk to. Super friendly and with lots of stories to share. Clean comfortable facilities, nice breakfast and overall would highly recommend.

This property is a delightful historic gem very close to the Santa Cruz boardwalk. The owners are kind and generous and the home was quiet and peaceful. Art decorates the walls, bright windows open to the beautiful green spaces outdoors. We would recommend anyone visit when they are in town.

Definitely a unique property with a lovely couple that operates the facility. Shared bathroom but not an issue for us. Accommodated us when we had an extra person in our room.

The B&B is in a historical house built in the 1800's. Our room was just beautiful - four-poster bed. Still had wifi and shower/toilet worked just fine.

The room was great, with a lot of character. Adriana and her husband Constantin were both so friendly and nice, and made great conversation. Adriana is quite the artist and has many of her own works around the house and rooms and loves to talk about art, her travels, and more if she has the time. The location of the BnB also can't be beat - just a few minutes walk to the boardwalk, arcade, restaurants, and so much more, but still maintains a quiet atmosphere.

It was close to the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. And the innkeeper was very kind. But communication was horrible. I left several messages that were unreturned regarding late check in. There were charges that couldn't be explained. Incorrect information on their website regarding a private bathroom. Had to very awkwardly ask about breakfast because it wasn't explained. Room and bathroom were not cleaned the three days we were there. Nor were the linens and towels ever changed or replaced. Kind people but unacceptable service!

The Cliff was perfectly located in Santa Cruz by the boardwalk and downtown - the rooms were very comfortable - one small downside was the having to use a shared bathroom on the second floor - The breakfast was incredible and exactly what I was looking for - great B&B - use it - Adriana is a Peach!
