Hidden Gem Whilst booking I was unsure about whether to stay here as Best Western do not have the best reputation in the UK. If only they were like this property. The rooms are spacious, clean with enormous, comfortable beds and facilities. From check in to check out, everything was simple and easy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the grounds clean and tidy with outdoor spaces to meet and relax. I would 100% stay here again if I found myself in the Santa Barbara area.

You can find parking right by your unit; bedrooms are nicely appointed- appreciate the separate rooms for the king and queen beds. Kitchen was awesome. Not walkable to main streets with restaurants but the restaurant onsite had good food.

The room was nice enough but quite dark. There was some construction on or next to the hotel. The breakfast could have been a bit better. Pancake machine did not operate properly and "scrambled" eggs were just one block of cooked eggs.

Two night stay was almost 800.00. It was a small room, no bath. I was over charged, Expedia took advantage and hiked up prices for the weekend. The Inn was nice. I remember staying there in 2021 but the room was nicer then, larger and it had a bath tub. Honestly, I was disappointed as I couldn't quantify the value.

Cute property. The staff was friendly when we checked in, we didn’t need to speak with them until check out. The room was small, simple, clean, and comfortable. The pool was just across the parking lot. We didn’t use it but it looked nice with a lot of greenery around. It was nice having the option of the restaurant on the property. We didn’t eat inside but ordered coffee from the to go window. There’s an adorable bird house (thats what I call it) next to the restaurant with the cutest finches living there. It was nice to just watch the birds eat and sit in their little hanging homes and fly around. Parking was not a hassle, found a spot near our room each time we left and came back. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and near a hospital. Would stay there again.

The staff are lovely and the hotel is generally clean (except for carpets). But the whole place needs a total renovation. The decor and furnishings are probably at least 50 years old. The carpet was worn and appeared grubby. The beds were shot to the point where you both ended up in a pit in the middle. There was a fusty smell about the place. It just felt unpleasant. As other review have said I would avoid this place if you can. It’s not worth the $$. Thankfully we were only there for one night on our road trip so we only really slept in the room and got out early.

The property was in a great location. It was close to down town as well as the SB bowl with amazing food options near by. However the room itself was extremely underwhelming and below expectations. The first night around 3 am the ac started leaking. Around 4:30 am there was puddle of water on the floor it got so bad it sounded like a waterfall. Based on the staff reactions this was not the first time dealing with this problem and it continued to be an in issue. The first morning maintenance took about 1 hour to come and fix the issue. The second night of the stay the ac started leaking again. The staff was nice but the appliances need major renovations.

The room was spacious and had a kitchen with gas stove, large refrigerator and table with settings for four. When we checked in there was a bottle of champagne with tall stemmed glasses waiting in our room. Housekeeping was excellent and considerate throughout our stay. Well worth an excellent rating.
