Waited in lobby for room to be ready for almost 6 hours was told one time for an early checkin and then wasn't able ro check in untilway after normal check in time. Expensive for services provided not really worth the convenience of being across from cruise ship terminal. Would not stay again

The property was fine good location however being charged $45 a night for parking and then at checkout realizing that after my seminar was done they wanted to charge me another $50 for parking from noon to 5 PM was outrageous. I get it. There’s not a lot of parking in downtown San Diego but charging $45 a night times two is $90 and then wanting to charge me another $50 from noon Sunday check out to 5 PM when I left after my seminar was done is completely outrageous.

The location is great. Shuttle was nice and fast. The hotel could use some upgrades remodeling. I had to change rooms 3 times due to issues in the rooms. Inconvenient to move so much.

My stay at the Wyndham was, on the whole, pretty good. Located on the Bayside was nice. You could walk along it to reach many spots of interest. The room was very clean and I enjoyed the balcony and the cityscape. I do think the hotel needs a cosmetic redo. Was surprised with no bedspread or duvet on the bed. We also did not have a clock or radio in the room. And no brochures on restaurants and attractions. Also there were problems with the sliding doors for the bathroom and shower. With some tweaks, this could be an even better experience.
