I so disappointed everything was under construction ie no restaurant pool or Gym. This was not disclosed to us. They ofered10 percent off at a couple ofrestaast that did not cover the uber there. Ice machine broken on the 7 floors I tried asked for room service to deliver no room service I had to go to front desk and wait in line for ice. Should have given a discount on room if no services available
Booked this place for my birthday trip. Thy had a pool and hot tub and a bar but everything was closed for construction the whole time we were there. They didn’t let us know this before we booked. The staff wasn’t helpful at all. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows sucked. Our shower drain kept clogging. Our last night there, someone was knocking on our balcony window door. It was creepy. We will not be staying here ever again. Lots of bums around that hotel too.

I arrived at the location and the pool and gym were both closed. We went to San Diego to enjoy the sun and be by the pool and we got the total opposite of that. We just literally stayed inside the hotel and did nothing it was pointless.
First off, I booked the executive suite. When I checked in Friday night and was given the keys. We make our way up the elevators with all of our family luggage’s that was heavy & we managed to lug around in our stroller but immediately upon walking in I realize that they didn’t put us in the room I booked. I called and had to wait 15-20 minutes for them to resolve and us to go all the way back down with our luggage. Once I got there the man just gave me my new key and didn’t even apologize for their error. Felt like they were either being deceitful by giving me a basic king room when I booked an executive suite, or whoever checked me in was incompetent.
Also there was no body was in the bathrooms. The sinks were dirty. The rooms are outdated and the TVs do not let you sign to Netflix or anything. So I recommend bringing a fire stick or anything.
Best part of the hotel was how close it was to everything in San Diego and how easy to was to access.
Other than that they need some serious work on upgrading the hotel & learning to apologize when they mess up.

Worst place to stay, elevators weren't working, pool and all hotel amenities closed.
I had paid for two separate rooms with king size bed prior to my stay, once I arrived and started checking in they said they had no more rooms with king size beds. How? If I paid and reserved online weeks prior to my stay. AC isn’t strong or barely even works rooms get really stuffy. Had to leave the slide door open of the balcony to get fresh cold air. In One of the rooms I had booked plumbing was terrible. Tub will fill up while showering and water wouldn’t go down.
Pleasant last minute stay after flight was canceled. Walkable to everything in the Little Italy area. Currently being remodeled but was accessible and had everything we needed.
The picture of the pool and spa and outside deck were the deciding factor to book this hotel when we arrived we were told all of those amenities were being remodeled and not available for use. Otherwise the property was very nice and close to amazing food.

Renovations were never communicated and the noise was a bit upsetting. Staff seemed nice, so nothing wrong there. I’m sure it will be better after the Marriot transition is finished, but for my stay it was average at best.

Property badly needs a refresh. Poor location: close to highway; constant traffic noise. Staff pleasant. Overpriced for level of services and facilities available

Property was ok, it was being renoved, so no gym or pool. Location was amazing, they didnt need a restaurant at the hotel because its surrounded by awesome restaurants. We were their on Satday and spent the morning at the farmers market going on right around the corner. Pillows onthe bed were flat, but we called and they immediately brought us up nice plump ones. Staff was friendly. I was not told about parking fee, but they do charge 40 a day. Needs the remodel, but was clean.
The staff was very welcoming and was available if you needed. The building seems old but well kept and clean. The location is really great since you can walk to anywhere in Little Italy. There is an amazing view as well. Only thing I didn’t like was that when I showered, the water would get all over the floor outside of the tub. The shower curtain isn’t made of material that holds the water within the tub area. It wasn’t a big issue though, and I would definitely stay here again.
