Monday night stay for a Padre game. Petco park walking distance. Variety of choices to eat. Very clean and charming Victorian hotel. Friendly staff. We’ve stayed here about 4 times, will stay here again.

The location is great. The hotel and restaurant was beautiful. My room interior could use some renovation. The parking is only valet, which is $59. It would have been better if the cost was added when booking the hotel. In addition, they should just charge the resort fee right away.

This is a great small hotel in the Gaslamp area. The suite room was nicely decorated and had a fireplace, microwave, and mini fridge. Their bar service was outstanding. As an older historic hotel the noise from outside could be heard but nothing my ear plugs couldn’t cancel out. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit to San Diego.

The hotel was in a great location, and there was a really pretty courtyard in the lobby area. We had to have our keys re-magnetized every time we returned to our room which was quite annoying and the shower spigot had to be pried open and only worked partially, otherwise a nice stay as long as you don’t plan to spend any time in the room.

Dated in San Diego but great location

This is a perfect hotel for one or 2 nights if you want to explore the gas lamp and southern San Diego. It is very dated but due to the location you can look past that. It has a restaurant but doesn’t do breakfast which I found odd. Room had a gas fire in it which was lit as we arrived. That’s very dated especially with carbon monoxide dangers. Staff were great though . Breakfast at the Provisional which is a block away was excellent.

Prime location for restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The baseball field is RIGHT down the road. The Boardwalk was only a few blocks away. And the airport was only about 4 miles from us. Very convenient location.

The carpet was very disgusting. The air conditioning was so loud. The shower handle was not working. Couldn’t use the shower. Every morning at 7:30 the sound of vacuum in the hallway was waking me up
