Customer service was great. We arrived early and they were able to get us in within a few hours. The location is good, safe and quiet. The rooms are old. Few spider webs and unknown stains noticed on walls, headboard, phone and a high touch areas. Would STILL return for location and Customer Service. My Dog felt welcomed
I arrived late to check in and the front desk person argued with me about a particular detail. The parking area had a few people sitting in their cars, one smoking weed, and I didn’t feel safe at all. When I got to my room, it smelled like mold, the laminate was peeling off the furniture and particular board was exposed, there was no top blanket, just a thin sheet and small blanket folded at the foot of the bed. There were random hairs in the bed and when I pulled up the thin blanket, something flew off of it. The walls were so thin you could hear everything in the next room. I messaged Hotels.com and they contacted the front desk to say I complained and she called me to ask why I didn’t tell her first and I could talk to the manager in the morning. She said the best she could do would be to send clean linens, which she didn’t. Thankfully the morning staff cancelled my remaining reservation and refunded my money.
The first room was moldy as heck.
When I told the front desk she didn’t seem shocked or even ask to see pictures. She just kindly and quickly reassigned me a room.
The second room was a tad bit better but there was mold and flies in the toilet shower room.
The mattress felt so deflated.
The neighbors were so loud.
Then I was notified that we had a noise complaint against us, however we were in the room for 10 minutes at that point and my kids were sitting on the bed watching their iPads.
It was a pretty gnarly hotel and I’m not a picky person. We completed our stay because it was just a quick weekend trip but I would’ve found another hotel if I was going to stay any longer than 2 days.
We booked the room for 3 nights. Once we arrive the lobby looked decent. Once walking in the room we noticed the furniture was outdated. The fridge had some rust inside. The mattress would sink in. On our last day there, we noticed water was dripping from the ceiling. We notified staff and she just handed me towels to dry the area. She then called our room and said that that room always had issues and the manager said that we could either get a different room 2 floors up( which we said no because we have a infant) or get partial refund. We have not received the partial refund.
