Room was nice. Got upgraded to a junior suite which was a pleasant surprise. Front desk staff are very nice. The Mexican restaurant is no longer there but has now merged with the restaurant inside the hotel. I recommend the taco salad.

Beware, the listing shows that "self parking is available" as an amenity but when you check-in they slap you with a $15/per night parking fee. The hotel/stay was just okay other than that.

The facilities and amenities were just what they advertised. The place was spotless. It was very apparent that the employees took pride in their work. Place was very quaint, quiet and sequestered, yet close enough to any activity in San Diego area. Onsite dining was superb
