This was our first time staying at Humphreys Half Moon Inn. We booked a standard king room, and check-in was great, our room was even ready early.
When we first arrived, there was a slight musty odor. We were told this can happen due to rain, so we turned on the A/C and went to dinner. Unfortunately, when we returned, the room still smelled quite musty. I called the front desk, and they were amazing about moving us to another room on the second floor. What a difference it made! We really appreciated how promptly the situation was handled.
Having a mini fridge and microwave in the room was a great bonus. The location is good, though you definitely need a vehicle if you plan on leaving the area. Parking is $25 per day, and it would be nice if some parking were included for longer stays.
The heated outdoor pool was great, nice size for both kids and adults, with a depth up to 9 feet. The hot tub was good too. I do wish I had looked at the map more closely, as the fire pit area was farther away than I realized and we would have used it more.
Overall, we would stay again!
