The staff at Humphreys Half Moon Inn is amazing. They're attentive and pleasant. The property itself is very well kept. Clean, quiet, and in a great location. This is my favorite spot to stay in San Diego.

I stayed here for two nights before a conference to relax. The first day and night were anything but relaxing. I could hear everything from my room - people talking, children playing in the pool… then at night it was extremely loud with someone having a party then proceeding to yell. The front desk wouldn’t answer the phone so it was a sleepless night. Thankfully day two was better. Front desk staff were not the most hospitable. But this was a very inexpensive hotel so I suppose I can’t complain too much; you get what you pay for.

This is my third time staying at a Humphreys and it was amazing per usual. I love the decor and the charm. The marina of boats all lit up at night is a beautiful view. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. This time we were upgraded to a suite and it was the best surprise and so spacious and had everything we needed! It’s a bit outdated in some regards, but honestly it’s clean and luxurious enough to feel worth the price. The hot tub and pool are magical. The food at the restaurant is very mediocre but I love that there are several restaurants within walking distance to choose from. Overall I love this resort and already can’t wait to return.

Needs some upgrades. The room was a bit cramped, and we removed the ill-fitting bed pad which gathered a disturbed sleep. There was absolutely no recycling which should be required by hotels these days.

BEAUTIFUL tropical grounds with a huge, heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. Gorgeous setting along the harbor with walking path, and a marina & sailboats on other side. Room was very dark though - super poor lighting. Didn’t notice there would be a &20 resort fee added.

This pace is amazing! Really enjoyed the the esthetics.. from the pool area to the concert hall and the restaurant overlooking the marina.. Made my trip that much more enjoyable. We couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel to enjoy its amenities. HIGHLY recommend you pay it a visit!
