While this hotel is nicely renovated, we found the room lacking drawer space for 3 adults to unpack and feel comfortable. There isn’t adequate lighting in the sink area. And the room misses the fact there there is not adequate fixtures to hang any towels, or clothing. We didn’t encounter any problems though and where our room was, it was pretty quite.

My husband literally rolled his eyes at me as we approached the hotel because the area is run-down so he was expecting a run-down hotel. I told him the reviews were excellent and the description said it was recently remodeled, which were both correct. Room was recently updated, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated the free onsite parking, and the elevator. Check-in was quick and the staff member was pleasant. Our ONLY complaint was the aluminum guard they put around the base of the bed to prevent items from going under, as we inadvertently kicked it several times (our apologies to the guests below us when it happened during our departure at 4am). This was a last minute trip and we were just there for overnight, so no review of the included breakfast. Very convenient to the airport, old town, freeway, etc., would definitely stay again.

Aside from being in sort of a sketchy area the motel is very clean and looks new. It was a bit noisy but tolerable. The price was right, it was pet friendly and close to Point Loma.

Naked lady show signs flank front of building and homeless surround area. Requested ADA handicap room, received confirmation okayinf, and did not get this room. Breakfast was disgusting. Cheapest bread and bagels you can buy. Eggs were stirred so much they looked like cottage cheese. Orange juice was very off in taste. Water from machine even had a weird taste. Parking was pretty full. Bathroom did not gave any grab bars and my mom in wheel chair was scared when bathing. TV was staticy. Thry said well nobody else complained, sent maintenance, and he said its the xable and nothing can be done. Pretty upsetting. All the other tvs worked as I asked others. Asked for management to contact me and they did not. Unacceptable!
