It is conveniently located right off the 5 Freeway and 3 1/2 blocks from Old Town. The hotel looks recently renovated and it had a nice pool area. Parking is located under the hotel and they do charge $20 to park per day. The room was very clean and comfortable. Free hot breakfast is provided. The mini fridge in our room was not working and we called the front desk. They sent someone to check it out. They could not get it to work. They offered to change rooms but it was late and we had unpacked. We had a small cooler and they offered to get us some ice which we appreciated. We were only staying one night. We booked at the last minute and the fee was reasonable considering the location. I would certainly stay here again. The desk clerk was very nice and check in was quick and easy.

The room was not great. We had a King bed and a Sofa Bed. The sofa bed sheets had to be changed but the King bed was comfortable. The sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable. The curtains were torn and frayed. The Internet was spotty. Ovetlr all I would rate the room as barely 3 stars. However - the breakfast was well done!

I was presently surprised at the room I got. Staff was very accommodating and kind. The bed was comfortable firm but not too firm lol Good prices. Quiet except if you’re on the bottom floor. You can hear every roller bag like an echo. But otherwise it was great for a budget hotel!

Careful with their pricing, i was quoted an amount including tax and when i paid at the property, the amounts were higher and they charged me about $100 more aside from charging parking and deposit..don't think I'd stay there again, the manager assured me everything was correct but my bank statement showed more taken out than amount quoted.

Relocating from SE back to San Diego. Start new job in office nearby and walking distance. Hotel best deal in general vicinity and convenient to everything else in Old Town as well. Basic lobby etc but rooms offer mini fridge and microwave. Liked hotel enough to extend stay for another 5nts! Walkable to new office is critical for first couple of weeks.
