Nice but no cigar

For the price we expected more in the way of little niceties in the room. No body wash, just one small round bar of soap. Room was nice, but not “cozy”. TV channel selection was awful. Watched a movie on my iPad. Bed was comfy, and we loved the restaurant bar. Lastly, parking fee kinda surprised me.

Located between the main channel and the marina, the hotel is a great spot to watch the incoming and outgoing Navy ships and support aircraft. You have great restaurants nearby that are walkable. Plenty of running paths and a beach that allows fires (in the pits). I recommend room 216 which is on a corner that overlooks the marina. Excellent hotel and they are currently renovating rooms to make it even better.

We enjoyed our stay here. They had just completed renovations so it has a nice little facelift with the restaurant and lobby. Rooms were comfortable view was excellent nice and quiet was able to walk around and enjoy the sea breeze.
