Courteous helpful staff. There was some strange light bulbs in the room and in the restaurant that were mismatched and flickering like a horror movie set, like the handyman put in some very cheap bulbs. It was irritating and made me not return to the restaurant the second day. I could unscrew the one in the room, but it was a detail that became an actual headache.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was ready early when we got there which was a nice surprise. Everything was clean. There was nothing wrong with the room specifically but be prepared for tight quarters and rustic plumbing.

The shower is very small but had amazing water pressure. Best shower I've had at a hotel in several years. Unfortunately, we only stayed there for about 12 hours before having to leave for our flight home. So we didn't get to really experience much of the hotel, but the staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable and the hotel seems safe despite being in a terrible neighborhood. The area is swarming with homeless drug addicts.
