The online pictures of this place don't do it justice. This is a very tired property. The staff here are nice but a little indifferent. We stayed for three nights (paid $366 per night), declined service to room the first night but the second day we requested to have our room refreshed, twice. When housekeeping still didn't show by 2pm called front desk to be told that "they are prioritizing cleaning checked out rooms first" (this was a Sunday). They never came to clean the room but did bring clean towels at 5:30pm. The hallways and room was musty and smelled of mildew. The stain on the carpet was from our room, gross! To get into the pool area, you have to enter through the dilapidated gate in picture. Free breakfast card says you get coffee & OJ (but no, you have to choose one). Overall, would never stay here again, there are much nicer places in Palm Springs for way less.

The staff was nice, especially considering how dirty our room was. The bathrooms didn't look like they were cleaned very well before our arrival, but even after a "thorough" cleaning they still seemed dirty. We were in a suite and the futon that was considered our 3rd bed was so rickety and uncomfortable we barely wanted to sit on it, even less sleep on it. They were very accommodating when we asked for the room to be cleaned better, but I think it's just the current state of the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay. My room was HUGE--plenty of floor space to lay out my clothes and other stuff. But I wish there had been a set of open shelves to put things (there's certainly enough room for that). The room was clean, but the carpeting is due for replacement...mystery stains and things caked into it. Ew. Shower was fine. The gym had too many missing dumbbells, but some decent machines. But still, better than average. Location (opposite a plaza with a Ralph's supermarket and some good restaurants) is super. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the bathroom lights and they got it fixed ASAP, at night!

SO run down… the website is very deceiving! The pool was old and rusted! Our room was old and the bathroom was filthy! I don’t even think the room was cleaned! Lights didn’t work in our room And the water tasted disgusting on the whole property! SO disappointed! Would not stay here again!

Felt more like a motel. Elevator, from our room, was at the very end of the hotel. Scuffs on the room walls and inside the bathroom, on every door. Ice machine is outside by the pool, first floor. Someone brought their dog to the hotel, which is fine, but the poor dog barked for a few hours - I'm thinking because it was left alone in the room. Nice tough with the 2 welcome drinks (margaritas). Decent location near downtown PS. Would try the many other hotels before going back. Appreciate the free parking.

This hotel has the best staff, especially the reception, restaurant and bar staff. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is sad, rundown and is due for an upgrade. We had issues with a smoke smell in our non-smoking suite, there seemed to be a lack of ventilation, tears and stains on the carpet, stains on the floor and walls, and old ikea furniture and non-functional tech. It has so much potential.

spent 4 days mid October at the Saguaro. The rooms are simple but clean, bed was very comfortable. Loved the pool, wasn't busy at all so could enjoy a day bed. Pool was clean. Love that they have bicycles that you can use to whip around . Great location with a few shops closeby. Would recommend.
