Loud people and clanging of furniture form other rooms. Uncomfortable bed. Running toilet. Refridgerator locked in freeze mode. Linnens had cigarette burn holes. Towels offered were tiny border line hand towels. Loud uncontrollable air conditioner.

Good Value

For travelers who want a very simple, clean room within walking distance to "downtown" Palm Springs for a very modest price, this Motel 6 is perfect. Room prices fluctuate wildly depending on the season and whether there are events bringing visitors to town. It is my "go to" place when I'm traveling solo and just want a quiet room to spend the night.

This Motel 6 does the job. Its location is good; the nearby area has some eateries. My room was fairly clean and satisfactory. The staff was welcoming.

It’s….Motel 6.

Check-in time appears to be whenever the staff deems it and not when stated on the booking. I was told by the front desk that they only had two housekeepers working, and that they were working as hard as they could….while someone was standing right next to him, doing nothing, with a badge in her shirt that read “Housekeeper”. Towels and blankets were basically see-through but what does one expect from a Motel 6?

What I didn't like was that I was charged $20 a day to park my car even though there was nothing online about parking fees or anything said about it when reservations were made. There was just a sign on the registration dessk statting there was now a parking fee. Very underhanded way of doing business. Almost like a bait and switch practice.
