The service I received was not indicative of the typical service you expect to receive at a Motel 6. I walked into the lobby a little early. I believe it was before check in time. There was a gentleman speaking with the front desk clerk, and it was taking a little bit of time. A lady came from behind and apologized for me having to wait. She opened up the other computer to check me in. She told me that the room that has been assigned to me may not be ready and that she would be happy to check the room or move me to another room. She checked the room and told me it would be a few minutes because they were finishing up the bathroom. She was apologetic and so sweet. I could not believe the service she was providing and I was the one that was there checking in early. I later found out that this was the manager and her name was Alma. She defined Customer Service. I could not have asked for a better welcome to the hotel. My only comment would be to have a microwave available in the room with the vending machines and ice machine. I needed something reheated and there was no microwave at all on the property for me to use. Again kudos to Alma for making me have a very very positive experience at this Motel session.
