Quaint property. Convenient to everything downtown. Great staff. Property is older and seems a lot of repair work going on. Noise is an issue. It is a family hotel so expect children. I recommend staying on the upper floor as bottom floor has a lot of noise from tenants above. I would also choose to be farther from pool as hot tub and pool area are loud. They also have vending machines which are loud if your room is located near one. It is a pricier hotel, so paying for location may be the only reason for the cost. And there is breakfast provided. Overall not too bad, but there are better choices

The location was good and the room we had was adequate. It was clean and comfortable enough, but dated, with no modern amenities like USB plugs for phone charging, or a safe. The noise level of the clubs nearby was deafening - even earplugs were of little use. And if it wasn't the pounding music keeping us up, it was all the bottles and trash being thrown away in the dumpster in the alley behind it.

While the place was fine, be aware that this is surrounded by loud restaurants, discos and clubs. If you are in to that sort of thing you wil enjoy it, but if not, I suggest a quieter location. Yes, it was easy to access restaurants but the pounding beats of the base and competing loud music surrouding the area until 2 AM each night really detracted from what would have otherwise been a nice stay.

Be aware of room location!

Excellent location! Well maintained and manicured hotel. Beautiful plants and trees! ALERT! Request a room furthest from the Arenas street Busy Busy parking lot, away from the rear of the building. Ground level C by parking lot very loud in am due to staffs work area Request A block rooms facing the hotels quiet parking lot or the front of the building. Reception knows the worst locations of rooms.

Terrible Room Location.

Room face the patio area of three different bars. We didnt get to sleep until after 3 because after the bars close, there's the noise of cleans up (bottles clanking and bags of glass being thrown in trash). We left more tored than when we got there!

Exceeded Expectations!

This was the best night sleep I've had while travelling - the bedding was so comfortable! The property is beautiful and peaceful, and within easy walking distance to a great downtown area. Breakfast was also great!

The hotel is lovely and the staff really helpful. The only issue was the first night there was loud music from a nightclub nearby at the back of the building. We got a room change for the next two nights which resolved the issue but it appears to be an ongoing issue for the hotel. Pool area was beautiful.

It was great. We were very comfortable for our five nights there during Modernism Week. Clean room, great breakfasts, helpful staff. Within walking distance of most of our activities.
