The pictures shown on the site look nothing like the room. The floors were dirty and coming apart. The beds had no fitted sheets. The remote for the television was broken. The shower was dirty and cracked. You are charged $15 a night to park in the parking lot. I never saw a cleaning crew going around. Also the first night there were people hanging out in the parking lot drinking making me feel uncomfortable walking to and from my room to my car. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I have stayed here several times. The price is always the best for the location (ocean view) and the Rockaway Beach neighborhood is a cozy location. The staff is always hard working and very helpful.

The property looks very outdated! There was an ugly curtain in the room, the room was very dusty. Towels were dirty, no shampoo. The view was nice. Parking was an issue. I had to book a place last minute, else I wouldn’t have opted for this one. The front desk was helpful

Location great, hotel not so much!

The guy who checked me in was great, and friendly, and gave me recommendations on bakeries and food places in the area. The hotel bed was super hard and not at all comfortable for me. Someone checked in above us and sounded like they were moving furniture, and rolling suitcases around. These rooms need some soundproofing. The shades for the lights didn't stay on and didn't fit the lamps—kinda ghetto. The location was amazing and walkable to many shops.

Quiet Solo Trip

Very nice stay, comfortable bed and pillows. Clean room. Towels were stained. Walk to the beach easy. This was a return visit. FYI, the hotel charges $15 per night parking if you park in their lot.

The young man at the front desk was delightful! He was very pleasant and helpful. The property was very quiet but it was in need of repair and didn’t feel clean. Mold in the shower, broken shower overflow, microwave was filthy on the outside. The linens were white and stained. Parking used to be free, but now it’s $15 a day! It’s pet friendly. One dog only for additional $45 per day. I used to stay here frequently. Yikes. I don’t think I’ll return.

Wish is was a better experience

The room was dirty as far as the back of the bathroom door had dirt marks all over and the light switch and there was a burned-out bulb, so the room was dark. Our room never got made up and it just felt dirty.
