I loved staying here. It was close to the warf, downtown Cannery Row, the sea lions, otters, aquarium. The room had a fireplace, partial view of the ocean (1/2 a block away) a balcony, coffee marker, refrigerator, microwave. Walkable to a lot of restaurants and sites. Plus the walking path next to it.

Close to great stuff

Our stay was amazing. The first room they put us in had a balcony which we asked for, was against a concrete wall.. so we asked about another room and they accommodated us with no problem. The front desk was so helpful! Only drawback would be, you have to pay for parking. I would recommend this motel because it’s walking distance to The Cannery Row!

This is a nice place to stay. The staff are kind, and the beds are phenomenal. The ease of walking everywhere was a plus as well. The parking lot is viewable from most rooms, which was a plus as as well!

We stay here at times when we go to monterey. Although a bit farther from center of action on cannery row, still walkable and convenient. There is a nice little beach yards from building. Street traffic can be a bit noisy at times, but generally not bad. Staff are always friendly and helpful and rooms are spacious and clean and have all needed conveniences like microwave mini fridge, and coffee maker (hint: they also have free coffee and cocoa in the machine in office which is very nice!). Only bummer is you now have to pay for parking (used to be free), but it is still cheaper than what the other hotels there charge...and much cheaper and more convenient than public parking in the area (which can be hard to find on a busy day!) We park at hotel and never need to move car to enjoy all cannery row has to offer. Not as new or fancy as some places and not a full service spa resort...but much better price than those places and a nice place to lie your head at the end of a busy day.

Great for our two day getaway

Great spot for our family to stay the night while we hit some beaches and the aquarium. Clean for the most part, sink drained very slowly, and our screen door on the slider was completely detached. But overall a fine stay
