My suite was not serviced during my stay. They asked me to take off my bedding and start the dishwasher before I left. There was no dishwasher detergent for the dishwasher.

Nice stay in a great location

The room was very nice, the remote for the TV in the living room was missing though. The beds were very comfortable. Close to so many things we wanted to do.

They show the resort map on the website, but everything is spread out, and there’s one pool that’s out of construction, the issue is they don’t tell you which one and for us traveling with a 2 year old toddler the goal was to relax, not only was all the amenities in our community broken, we had to drive out of the resort and back into the resort for the amenities. They do have golf carts, but it’s not safe for toddlers and I have attached the map, if you can see the drive requires us to get back on the street. They were able to switch rooms for us. I’m sharing this hoping no one with small children will go through what we went through. When you book the room it doesn’t say which community your room will be located, because they told me that’s how the rooms are sold and expedia should have informed me the community where my room was in, which I did not know, and since I’ve never been, I didn’t know the layout of the resort, that’s why I’m sharing the photo here.

Been coming for years love the place! Vacation sales provided top quality customer service as did food and beverage. Pizza hut too! However front desk needs more training as not clear about charges such as resort fee verses incidental vs room deposit. Check out at front desk associate was rude and short with me. Not friendly at all. Probably needs more training or another job.

Lots of good amenities. Two bedroom condo was spacious and very nice but needed a few upgrades (dining room table bobbled, screen on patio was ripped). Front desk was good about reporting issues and trying to fix things.

At first, the unit they gave me was very unpleasant. I didn't like the view or the location. I wanted to cancel my reservation, but they offered me a better unit and I was satisfied. It's a very nice place to relax with the family.

Welk resort is about 30 minutes away from where we live and it’s a perfect staycation place to decompress for a few days.Upon arrival staff greeted us with smiles and enthusiasm. In fact all staff members we had the pleasure of meeting went above and beyond to help and they were the highlight of our stay. Welk is a lovely resort with beautiful views all around. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool(s), taking walks and just relaxing. However we were disappointed that there was very limited food / drink options at the pools. And we would have liked to have more cabana rental availability at more of the pools. We had planned to spend a day at each pool but only two had cabanas for rent. Our villa was lovely. Very spacious and nice. However there were several things that needed attention. The washing machine leaked and flooded the kitchen, the microwave door needed to be held shut in order to work, and the shower would gradually get too hot because the handle would not stay in position. There were a few other things as well. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely return for little getaways but the condition of the villa made us think twice about buying in.
