Ideally located in the middle of Chelsea, great price, wonderful tasty breakfast... The request to pay in advance outside of the app was worrying, but all made to work at the end after several lengthy calls... The condition of the rooms and common showers can be improved... All in all, best deal in Manhattan if you don't want to pay a fortune and can compromise with the condition of the rooms

Room was clean. I agree with others that rooms are dated but u don’t care about that as much as clean. Rooms were impeccable clean, close to much of what you want to do in New York. Close to subways. Staff was ok but didn’t really have to interact with them too much other than check in and check out.

Love the hotel.. very eclectic. Don't forget there aren't any elevators.. and there are 5 floors.. loved my stay there

My first time staying here and it did not disappoint. The hotel is unique and beautiful, the restaurant was delicious and the location is ideal.

We loved staying here! The lobby was creatively furnished and the breakfasts were excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Our flight out that night was canceled, so we arranged to stay an extra night. Staff was delightful and helpful. Cost for Sunday night was 1/3 of the Saturday night cost! Location was within walking distance of a subway stop, and there were excellent eateries in the neighborhood, which felt safe. We will definitely stay there again, hopefully during a weeknight!
