Plenty of parking but seems to used as park and fly so unable to park opposite hotel as all spaces full of cars that don’t move! Annoying really as had to park a distance away around back of hotel! Hotel guest should have priority parking needs looking at also spaces very tight unable to open doors even though parked within lines and to top off week stay my door has dent on by another vehicles door hitting mine. I world avoid this hotel.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Right by a busy road so a little awkward walking but hotel environs themselves were good and well maintained.
Room was pretty standard. Beds were very soft which is obviously down to personal preference but they were also very short and anyone taller than about 1.75m (5 ft9 in old money) would be struggling.
Only enough teabags for a cup each but there was more available free of charge from reception (just a bit of a pain). Wallpaper was torn but the room was pretty clean.
Shower however was dreadful. Hot enough but barely more than a trickle in pressure.
Good to see none of that "greenwashing" nonsense where hotels pretend to be concerned about the environment with patronising signs saying "save towels" or having soap dispensers on the wall itself when it's clearly all about cost-saving. Instead we had nice toiletries and fresh towels. No apparent recycling though.
However should be said that this was an incredible price and superb value for money with free parking and the staff were brilliant throughout the hotel.
We have stayed here a few times now for concerts at the nearby NEC. The food and drinks are excellent value and good quality. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended
The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Absolutely gorgeous property. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had forgotten to print something off at home and the lovely girl on reception told me she would print it for me if i emailed it over. Saved my bacon. Would definitely stay again
Hotel is clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit dated. Our room looked out on to a quadrangle and other rooms. Could do with having nets or something at the window as the only way for privacy was with the curtains closed which made it dark.
Property was lovely and clean. Room was basic and a little too hot even with a small fan. The property itself was nice and some staff were really lovely. Rooms i think just need a little upgrade.
The postcode provided drops you at a location that has you looking at the hotel but no more than that.
The staff were cold and borderline passive-aggressive.
The layout of the hotel is labyrinthine and we seemed to walk to our room different ways despite following the same signs.
The decor is tired and old and like another review we found the bed to be as unwielding and as welcoming as the staff.
Upon our return at night the security were blasting the music in the foyer, this could be heard on the floor above and I guess in guest rooms.
There was a sign encouraging guests to take their towels down to the pool to save on laundry. I highly doubt many guests will do that.
No asking as to whether we enjoyed our stay at check-out and no explanation as to when my £50 security deposit would be returned - I assume that they took none of it as I have checked my account and no transaction is due.
If you need a base for the NEC, this is ideal, though I would consider any other of the alternatives instead of this abysmal hotel.
Very convenient location for Birmingham and although there were many big events on in the area, there was lots of parking available and the walk to the station and NEC very short.
Despite how busy it was, the service was very good & the staff friendly. The spa was an extra treat.
Will definitely use again.
