This hotel is OKAY at best. You’re really just paying for the washer/dryer in room which kept popping up error codes for me and took 2 hours to dry small loads. Furniture is outdated and the room just smelt and looked like it hasn’t been cleaned. Scuffs on the wall, corners of the bathroom dirty. The staff were nice for the most part but my wife and I requested to check out early so we could stay somewhere else and we couldn’t get a refund so we tried to make the best of it. It was a 8-10 minute walk from the station and there’s a FamilyMart outside which was convenient. This hotel was overpriced in my opinion, but the rooms were a lot bigger than your typical japan hotel room. Bed was also just okay, nothing special and pillows were small. If you want a bigger sized room outside of the main touristy areas with a washer and “dryer” and don’t mind outdated furniture? then this one’s for you. Would I stay here again? Probably not, especially not for $200 a night.

The staff at the reception were very kind helpful knowledgeable and efficient. They arranged for our bags to be moved to the room as well as onward to our subsequent hotel in japan.

I very much liked staying here. I did pay a bit extra for my room, but had a private washing machine. The room was ncie and not too small, and the hotel was nicely laid out and very clean. The area of the hotel is fairly central in the city and close to some important train lines, so it's easy to get around I thought. Not the most interesting or fun area though, but still enough food options.

Get Breakfast Somewhere Else

Breakfast is self service and food comes in bags that are meant to be transferred into the plate that is provided in the room. They also include rice cooker and you have to cook your own rice. Clean up materials are not provided, however. Use your hands and the foam hand soap to clean your dish, utensil, and the rice cooker. I recommend just going to Yoshinoya across the street, or the famima downstairs. Overall, breakfast option is for those who want to be punished. The room layout is otherwise good and I like that there is a washer/dryer included.
